TWIL (This Week I Learned.)
This week I learned and grew from fumbles. I got to practice observing myself in my imperfect, often awkward human skin. Yikes! The good news: I am {we are all} perfectly imperfect.

"Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible — the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family." — Virginia Satir

“Watch yourself, Joe. Think about what I've said. You've gotta get yourself into a flexible frame or you're no place.” Mr. Waturi to Joe in “Joe Vs The Volcano” by John Patrick Shanely (follow him on Twitter)
Prompt
A “flexible frame” — flexible — open to new information and open to change but also within a solid frame. Consider your frame this week. Consider what is unchanging, what your values are, what makes you authentically happy.
Quest
Go here for some help figuring out what your values are, what makes you authentically happy. Martin Seligman has dedicated his later career to figuring out what makes us authentically happy. This week, explore your core: what makes you tick, what makes you imperfectly perfect.
